YEP... HOME OF THE $1000 WEBSITE IS ON HOLD

So much for supposing smaller is easier. I found the 5 section 1 page website much, much more complex and time consuming than the traditional 5 page website. This became obvious due to the C in the CSS...cascading inheritance of styling increased the complexity of each new or adapted section on the page. Experiment complete. But we'll be back with another "idea" soon.:) Examples coming soon. Basically, the One Thousand Dollar website consists of five sections. Design is responsive, which means it renders beautifully and quickly on all devices, phones, tablets, laptops, and desktops, adjusting to the site visitor's computing environment [browser, hardware, and operating system].

FTC TO REGULATE TRACKING

The United States Federal Trade Commission, which plays a heavy role in regulating eCommerce and other internet based business operations, now advocates a "do not track" standard, similar do a "no follow" search engine robot command option for websites.

Although the "do not track" command for web based marketing, statistics, and analytics is in the development phase with the feds, it could greatly impact the vast amount of data useful to optimizing conversion. Demographic and target market intelligence data could become restricted, to some degree.

SOCIAL SIGNALS SEARCH

Google and Bing search engines acknowledge that social signals are factored into their algorithm for and integrated in "regular" search results. This means who you are socially, your authority, the authority of those who talk about "Social Signals".
